Earthly Pursuits Owner & Operator Monika
Burwell moved to Baltimore from Germany in 1969. Monika's family have been
plantsmen in Europe and the US for over 125 years. Monika has over 20 years
experience designing and creating gardens in the US. She brings a European
aesthetic to her American garden designs.
Earthly Pursuits proudly distributes
Kurt Bluemel, Inc. plants. In January 2001 retail sales for Kurt Bluemel, Inc.
were turned over Monika Burwell. Kurt Bluemel is known for being one of the
founding fathers of the "ornamental grass movement". He currently operates a
wholesale nursery and landscape business.
Earthly Pursuits is focused on providing
